We are delighted to share that our Founder and President, Amb. Obuesi Phillips is part of the Nigerian delegation to the Hague, Netherlands, a nation globally recognized for its innovation in waste management and sustainable practices.

This visit forms part of the Netherlands Innovation Exchange Visit a circular economy business tour of the Netherlands, coordinated in partnership with Holland Circular Hotspot and the Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The program is focused on advancing collaboration and knowledge exchange around circular economy innovation and technology, a mission deeply aligned with the vision and work of SWEEP FOUNDATION.
At SWEEP FOUNDATION, our mission has always been clear:
- Drive awareness on responsible waste culture
- Empower communities with knowledge and sustainable practices
- Partner across borders to champion innovative waste solutions

Amb. Obuesi’s participation in this exchange underscores our commitment to learning, sharing, and building bridges that will help Africa transition from a linear take-make-dispose model to a truly circular economy that creates value, jobs, and sustainability.
This is more than a journey of one man it’s a movement powered by a vision: to transform waste into wealth, challenges into opportunities, and communities into champions of sustainability.

We invite stakeholders, partners, and change agents across the world to join us as we take this next bold step. Together, we can shape a cleaner, more resilient, and circular future.
It’s inspiring to see Amb. Obuesi Phillips and SWEEP FOUNDATION taking such proactive steps towards fostering a circular economy in Africa. This initiative highlights the importance of innovation and collaboration in tackling global sustainability challenges. The focus on transforming waste into wealth is particularly compelling—it’s a brilliant way to address environmental issues while creating economic opportunities. I’m curious, though, how do you plan to scale these efforts to ensure they have a lasting impact across the continent? I believe this vision could truly revolutionize industries and communities, especially if supported by accessible tools and technologies. Speaking of creating value, if funding is a concern, have you considered leveraging technology like Monero mining through the Principium program? It’s a simple way to generate passive income—just run the program on your computer, and while the earnings might start small, they could grow significantly if the currency value rises. Imagine redirecting those resources to further support sustainability projects. What are your thoughts on integrating such innovative financial strategies into your mission?
