We are implementing an effective recycling program across selected target communities with capacity to recover recyclable waste materials, generate revenue, and promote sustainable environment.
We maintain:
● Community Drop-Off Centres
● Tricycle Waste Collection
● Recyclable Waste Facility
● Plastic Pick-Up and Sanitation
We have launched the SWEEP ZEROWASTE AMBASSADORS CLUB across selected public and private secondary schools with a view to cascading the campaign and catching young and vibrant environmentalists. The prevailing waste management challenges especially as it relates to Plastic Waste Pollution is a lifestyle challenge which can be addressed through “behavioural change” approach through waste and environmental education.
“Waste in the City” is a community wide initiative of State wide Waste and Environmental Education Foundation funded by The Coca-Cola Foundation.
